Club Pro Ian Preece is just one match away from Qualifying for the Welsh Open at the Newport centre. The 26 year from St Julians Scraped through his opening match against Peter Lines 5-4 helped by breaks of 66 and 58 and repeated the scoreline to beat Andrew higginson 5-4 to set up the qualifying Match against Stuart Bingham. Should Ian beat Bingham he will play Stephen Maguire at the Newport Centre on Monday 16th February.
